Product musings and other random thoughts

I'm often asked what Avon products I like best and how well do they really work.  Both interesting questions and not really what todays blog is about.  But since you asked... favorite product hands down is Anew Vitamin C Serum

It brightens my face up and smells like I just rubbed it in orange juice.  Which sounds super gross, but is actually a good thing.  Vitamin C is good for you and good for your skin.  End of story.

Not all products catch my fancy, though. Take the new Southern line we are carrying.  The products are adorable, don't get me wrong.  Its having been raised by a Southerner that the idea of the 'Modern Southern Belle' is giving me twitches. In the wrong way.

Ya'll (SOUTHERN SPEAK FOR REALS!) I grew up in the 80's and having a conservative Southern Mama was not cool. I had to wear slips, couldn't call boys on the phone (GASP!) or not do a host of other things.  The memories...oh well.. don't let that deter you from exploring all the cute things in the line. I'll just keep my recollection of collard greens and soggy beans to myself.
