Totally random blog but thats okay once in a while. This is a chance to get a glimpse at my humor. So, Todd and I were out on our usual Saturday lunch date. We had just finished up and were a bit pissed because the waitress took our food away before we were actually done eating. All because she was all miffed because he dared ask for a second cup of coffee. What nerve! Long story for another time.
Anyway, we decided to do some shopping for moss remover. You live in the PNW, you get alot of moss. And weird thing, HOA's get a little ticked about it. Who knew? Now, to make this understandable, Todd and I have alot of inside jokes. One is about a blog he stumbled across like 6 years ago about a metal chicken named Beyonce. Wife was mad at hubby, got revenge by buying a 5 foot metal chicken. (Google Bloggess, Beyonce. ) We found it hilarious and joke about CHICKEN DOWN every now and again. So imagine my surprise when we headed into the hardware store for the moss remover and saw this!

Its no chicken (and they had some, we found them eventually) but its BETTER. My daughter loves elephants and since I love a value, if this sucker is reasonable, I'm shooting for mom of the year award and taking Tin Can Trunky home!
It was 70.00. WHAT? No score, no thank you... but it gave us a momentary squeal of laughter.
Helped heal the wound of the meanie waitress. Just a random thing, but its the small things in life...
